PLUMPY® and NUT, FEED the world!
FEED Projects and Teddy Share have collaborated to bring you the FEED bear! FEED Projects, started in 2006 by co-founders Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson, has raised $5 million for school feeding programs around the world. The mission to create good products that help FEED the world has led them to team up with Teddy Share.
FEED Bears, made from organic cotton and burlap, raise funds for Industrial Revelation and the production of Plumpy'nut®, a ready-to-use therapeutic food proven to treat severe acute malnutrition with astounding success rates. The proceeds of each of the two bears, aptly named PLUMPY® and NUT, provide the nutritious paste respectively to 5 and 3 malnourished children.
